About Dover
Dover is situated, in the Kent County, at the Southeastern tip of England. A well-known Dover landmark is the coastline stretch of the amazing White Cliffs. Ferry passengers can also catch a glimpse of the spectacular Dover Castle, Anglo-Saxon Church and a Roman Lighthouse.
It has a busy port where four ferry companies collectively operate daily ferry crossings for both foot passengers and motorists at an interval of 30 minutes across the English Channel connecting to Calais, Boulogne and Dunkerque in France. Eastern Docks Ferry Port is used by Norfolkline, P&O Ferries and SeaFrance for operating ferries whilst SpeedFerries operate from the Western Docks.
The Dover Ferry Port terminal has all the tourist amenities like snack bars, toilets (including disabled toilets), showers, baby changing rooms, pay phones, vending machines, car hire booths, children's play areas, game zones, viewing area, bank, and cash points. Information on parking can be had at our site, Cheap Dover Car parking.
