About Jersey

Jersey is a British Crown Dependency and is situated near the Normandy coast near France. It was under German occupation from 1940 to 1945. Its main business and trade areas were agriculture, fishing, shipbuilding, and production of woollen goods. Improved transport to its either sides across the English Channel helped in tourism growth. The languages spoken here are Jèrriais, English and French.
