About Poole
Poole is located in Devon on the south coast of England. Romans had invaded the southern England through this port. It is a second largest natural harbour in the world. There are several islands surrounding the harbour.
Summer is packed with tourists and activity, including fireworks. Once a week from April to September, the bikers from various parts ride into the Poole’s Quay to share their passion.
Some of the popular tourist destinations include the Brownsea Island, Sandbanks Beach, Waterfront Museum, Poole Pottery Factory, Kingston Lacey house containing many artifacts and Cockle trail. Poole Pottery Factory’s original company had produced most the tiles used in London Underground stations and now they are into art deco pottery. The harbour is also bird-watchers paradise, with wildlife on the shorelines protected by Dorset Wildlife Trust and RSPB.
