Carteret

Barneville - Carteret is a small town on the south-west coast of the "Cotentin", facing Jersey.

It is famous as a sea resort. A visit to the fortified Roman church is a must. The other attraction is the sandy beaches which offer relaxation.

The marina at the Carteret port is where cruises to the Anglo-Norman islands or the Brittany coast can be docked. It connects to ten possible destinations, all between 7 and 45 miles away. The port has a school, for children and adults, which offers training at all levels for rowing and sailing.
