Roscoff

Roscoff as a port of significance came into being in 1973 as a part of the local economy revitalization plan. It is situated on the Brittany coast in Western France. Roscoff is famous in history as a place where Mary, Queen of Scots landed in 1548 to marry Francois, son and heir of Henri II.

Notre-Dame-de-Croas-Batz which is at the far end of Rue Gambetta is a famous tourist attraction due to its notable Renaissance belfry architecture. Roscoff is the birthplace of the rejuvenating Thalassotherapy and a visit to Thalassotherapy Institute cannot be missed. Roscoff has magnificent beaches along a stunning coastline. A popular favourite is the Laber Beach.
